When Mr. Hille was called in to simply perform an EDR (black box) download on Noriko Uno's Toyota Camry he had no idea that his involvement would extend beyond that day. While waiting for all the invbolved parties to come to some agreement on procedural issues he spent his time examining the vehicle and it's component parts. One thing seemed curious to him. He had seen the police report and noted the mention of another accident a half mile away that the Police were unable to tie to Mrs. Uno's accident. That other vehicle was a Silver Lexus SC430. While examining the driver's door skin, which had struck a tree at approximately 50 mph, he noted a blue paint transfer that did not seem to fit with any of the known impacts. After measuring the position of the transfer he determined that this appeared to be from the numbers of a California License Plate. After further chemical analysis, at a later date, it was determined to be a perfect match to the license plates on the Lexus. The Bello Defendant was then brought into the case and found 100% at fault for the fatal accident. The Jury awarded Mr. Uno and his son $10,000,000 in damages against Mrs. Bello.
